DAY 396 WI week 56

I gained 2lbs this week putting me back up to 14st 13lbs. At least it didn't go back up into the 15's. Last week I ate all my points plus nearly all of my activity points. Looking back over my tracker some of my food choices were quite crap. I ate far to many crisps and snacks. One day I had 6 bags of crisps (8pts), 2 cereal bars (2pts), a ww bar (1.5pts) and another bag of snack biscuits (1.5pts). 13pts on snacks for one day is terrible!!

This week I'm making better choices. I've made up some zero point soup and some sugar free jelly. Bought some fresh melon as it's so low in points and looks like loads in the dish. SP on the scales this morning was showing a loss of 1.5lbs already. :o) Hopefully it'll be more by the time WI comes around. I'm making doubly sure that I'm drinking enough water, squash and green tea. That's working as I wake up several times during the night for the loo and seem to keep rushing there during the day.

My WW leader wondered if I've been eating enough. She's asked me to take my tracker in next week and to monitor all my exercise.

Exercise has been good. Belly dancing was on Wednesday for 100 minutes. The lady who usually takes the water workout class is on holiday so a lifeguard took the class last night. Wasn't really very good as I could talk all the way through it. It lasted for 52 minutes and I was only in the correct zone for 7 minutes. Average heart rate was 100 and the max was 140. Only burnt off 213 calories. I'd of probably done better if I went swimming instead. Water workout today was a lot better as it was a proper instructor. Managed to burn off 314 calories in 54 minutes today.

Next Monday I'm booked in for water workout and the aqua gym and Tuesday is water workout again. Might try and get out for a walk this weekend if the weather is ok.

I've been continuing with clearing out my clothes. Sorted out all my coats and jackets. There's at least 10 of them. I'm going to try and get a load of my stuff on ebay this weekend so that I can get some money for my holiday with Tina. Just over 11 weeks to go and I want to get down into the next stone bracket.

  1. The snacky things just creep up on you don't they, but some days just go like that. I'm having that kind of a day myself, and reading your post has helped me stop. It's a good thing that we have trackers to go back over and pinpoint where we might have gone wrong. It sounds like you're doing all the right things to shed that 2lbs this week. I'm absolutely sure you'll make your holiday goal and look fabulous!

  3. Well done for working out where you went wrong, and being positive about getting back on it. You will be fine this week.
    I am going to weigh in tomorrow to face the scales and start afresh!

  4. Well done for checking out what you are eating hunnie. At least you know where you went wrong. Im having a crap week right now food wise...just awful. Dreading getting on those scales.
    Im sure you will get that 2lb off this week hunnie and you are going to look fab in May... so looking forward to it . Catch up with you soon darling x x x
