I braved the scales this week and I had a terrible gain of 7lbs!! I didn't think it was possible to gain so much in one week. That's just terrible. I went to WI and said there's no excuse, I've just been a complete pig and eaten everthing in sight. I suppose at least I went and I'm almost back on track this week.

Wednesday and Thursday I came in bang on points. Friday Tina and her hubby Dave came round for dinner. They brought me a lovely bunch of flowers and Russ a box of chocolates. Thank you so much. Russ hid the chocs in his work bag and took them to work today and scoffed the lot. I didn't even get to sniff an empty wrapper! We all had a lovely time and we only stopped talking to put food in our mouths. It was such a nice evening and made a change. Really must do it again real soon :o)
.
I made a BNS soup for starters 0pts, me and Tina and 2 WW part baked rolls each (3pts), cottage pie (5.5pts), I even weighed out the potatoes and cooked ours in a seperate dish to everyone elses. Loads of veggies (forgot to dish up the BNS garlic and herb wedges that I'd made), be good to yourself garlic bread (4pts), then for dessert me and Tina had Sainsburys be good to yourself chocolate pud and can you believe that's only 2.5pts. What a fantastic cake and chocolate fix all in one. That was served with LF custard (1.5pts) and a small spoon of light ice cream (1pt). I ended the day coming in just over points and I have 5 to pull back.
.
Today I've gone over points by 2. Hopefully I'll be able to pull the 7 back over the next 3 days. I'm not too worried though.

There's a couple of boot sales starting up again tomorrow. We've missed them over the cold months. Sad I know, but we like to pick up a bargain or 3. We can't wait for April to arrive and all the usual ones we go to will be starting up. We're also plan on calling in at Tina's house inbetween boot sales as we have something to pick up. Nothing else is really planned for tomorrow.

I forgot to say that my mum has got the date for her knee replacement operation. She was supposed to be going in to Hinchingbrooke hospital in Huntingdon which is about a 50 minute drive away. The hospital phoned her a couple of weeks ago and she was told that the hospital had a lot of emergencies and they were going to transfer her to a private hospital in Cambridge which is only a 20 minute drive away. They also told her that the op would be around April the 1st. I took mum for her pre-op assessment last Thursday and spoke to the surgeon and we thought he was going to say he wouldn't do it as he said she's a bit young at 58 to be having it done. My mum looked like she was going to cry when he was talking. Eventuall he said he would be doing the op on March 23. She'll be in hospital for 3-5 days depending on how far she can move her knee after the op. Mum is now getting a little nervous and understandably so. Bless her. She's petrified that no one will go and see her. She remembers having her tonsils out when she was 7 and hiding under the blankets and peeping out the bottom of the bed and being scared that no one would visit her. Of course that didn't happen then and it won't happen now. I'll be visiting her during the day and my sister will be visiting her during the evening. Dad works 12 hour night shifts and will visit her between sleeping and working then he's taking some time off work to be with her when she gets home.
.
I love you mum, happy mothers day xxx
