Well what can I say about my abscence? To be honest I've not had an awful lot to say. Since I last blogged I've had two WI's. WI week 66 I lost 7lbs which I was totally shocked about, but very pleased. Then this week I gained 2lbs. Oh hum.
This week really isn't going great on the ww front. I think I went into holiday mode the day I weighed in. I've mainly been eating what ever I fancy, not weighing or pointing anything. To be honest I really do feel like taking a break from WW for a short while. I'm hoping that after my holiday I'll find my mojo and bring it back home with me.
Had a couple of NSV's this week. I was shopping in a local town and walked by someone I knew, said hello as I passed and carried on walking, like you do as I was in a hurry. Later on that day, she'd left a message on facebook saying that she didn't recognise me at all as I'd lost so much weight and that I'd done really well. That's the first time some one has said that to me. Kind of nice. :o) The other one I was in Tesco's and bumped into my sister's friend Tracy. We just said a quick hi to each other. Tracy goes to WW with my sister and mum and she mentioned how noticable it is that I've lost weight. This really pleased me as Tracy very, very, very rarely gives a compliment or mentions anything when it comes to weight. She doesn't even mention to my sister how her WI's go each week. So I'm rather honoured that she paid me a compliment. So thank you Tracy. :o)
Exercise is going good though I still haven't started my 200 sit up challenge. That's now been put off for a couple of weeks. I really enjoy my water work out classes and when I'm able to, I do 2 classes in a row. I done that Thursday and Friday this week, burning 700 calories on Thursday and 600 calories on Friday. I done a double water workout today too. That'll be the last of the exercise now until after my holiday. :o)
I've done quite a bit of clothes shopping for my holiday. I've bought white linen trousers, white cropped jeans, a short ra-ra skirt and short denim skirt all in size 16. Quite a few tops in size 18. I've even picked up a few bits from the car boot sale. I bought a beautiful pink stripe linen Monsoon skirt for £1 and a pair of Monsoon cropped jeans for £1. Very good bargains. I wish I could find them like that all the time. For the first time ever I've been able to borrow some clothes from my sister. I'm borrowing several pairs of shorts, bikinis and some tops from her. I suppose really that's another NSV.
I started this post a couple of days ago and now here it is a few hours before I fly off with Tina on our holiday to Zante. I've packed and re-packed a hundred times. Finally having to re-pack because my suitcase was damaged. I leant it out to someone a few months ago and didn't notice until I done it up that the fabric had come unstitched in 3 or 4 places on the zip! Not impressed as the case I changed to was smaller but heavier and put me over my luggage allowance by 600gms. Not a lot I know but I then had to rejig everything around and swap what footwear I'd chosen to wear on the journey to the heavier pair.
I'm looking forward to spending a week of not doing very much at all. Maybe snooze by the pool, maybe by the sea, read a book or 2, eat what ever I fancy and drink a few cocktails too. :o)
I'm off now and I hope to catch up with all your blogs when I return. I know there'll be plenty of pictures to share with you all.
Bye for now. See you all soon xxx
