Day 517 I'M SO SORRY I'VE BEEN MISSING FOR SO LONG

It's been over 6 weeks since I last blogged. I've really been struggling since coming back off my holiday. Things have been slipping big time and I'm finding it hard to find my motivation and get back on track. I've managed to gain 10lbs since my WI before my holiday and I'm now 15.5lbs heavier than I was at my lightest on 24th February. I now weight 15st 9lbs!!
I've been crap! I've not been blogging, I've not been tracking, I've not been pointing, I've not been drinking my water. The only things that I have managed to keep up with is going to my WW meetings and doing my water workout classes. If I had given up on those then I'd of probably gained 2 stones in the last few months!
At this weeks WI our class had yet another new WW leader..... this is our 4th, as our last leader Christy, has now gone on maternity leave. She's so lovely and will be really missed. She'll have to re-apply for all of her classes once she returns to work so hopefully we'll see her again by the end of the year.
Anyway, back to what's been happening since I last blogged. I had a fantastic holiday in Zante with Tina. That seems such a long time ago and we've been back 5 weeks already. I'll share a couple of photos with you. We had such a giggle :o) It was a very much needed break for the pair of us. Thank you Tina for helping to make it such a wonderful holiday darlin xxx

I went to a wedding the weekend I got back from holiday which was a really nice day. The weather was fantastic and the bride and groom couldn't of asked for a nicer day.
.

I've also been to a couple of dinner parties and bbq's over the last few weeks. So I've been fairly busy.
.
Just before half term my son Ryan, who's in year 10, had a 2 week work placement in a garage just 4 miles from home. This ment I had to take him there and pick him up every day. It also ment I had to go and see him every lunch time as there was no where for him to go as the garage was situated just off a dual carraige way. He couldn't walk or bike any where as it was such a busy road and the garage didn't have a kitchen or a place for him to sit. So for 2 weeks I couldn't do much of anything during the day which was a bit of a pain. It was a total shock for him having to do a full days work. So very different from a normal school day. Ryan completed the 2 weeks and had a brilliant time. I'm so very proud of him for doing this.
.
The other thing that's been happening recently is I've been preparing to appear at a carnival belly dancing. A group of about 10 fellow dancers took part in the parade and then 16 of us took part in a dance display at the end of the procession. This happened yesterday and we all had a fantastic time. This has ment that I've been rehearsing for the last few weeks a couple of evenings a week with other dancers as well as rehearsing at home when ever I could. It was very exciting and it's something I would never of considered doing 18 months ago. A great time was had by all of us and we all had lots of fun. I'm going to share a few of these pictures with you too.

The week ahead I'm quite hopeful. I've had 4 good days with today not being so great. I intend for the next 2 days to be good. Getting back on track in certainly harder than I anticipated. I don't want to give up and undo all the hard work I've acheived over the last 17 months. I've got 5 more WI's until my 40th birthday and I'd like to try to undo some of the damage I've done over the last 4 months. It's time to stop mucking around and get back firmly on track. A couple of weeks ago I purchase some WW kitchen scales as they were half price. I've now got to work out how to use them. I've also bought one of the new pedometers. I've just got to get the thing out of the box.
If I disappear again can someone give me a big kick up the arse and pull me back on that waggon please.... as it is I'm only hanging on by my fingertips. I need a firm seat and a seatbelt to keep me there!!!

  3. Thanks Lorr and thank you Linz. This week has been tough but I managed to lose 2.5lbs. I haven't been a saint so I'm very pleased with that. We've come a long way and I know I definatly don't want to go back ever again. I've done that too many times before. I keep telling myself this time is different and it is.... I haven't given up on the meetings which is something. Thanks again xxx
